Postdoctoral Position at Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of California, Davis

The postdoctoral researcher will participate in an extramurally-supported project to advance RNA engineering in mammalian cells, as well as other ongoing projects in the laboratory. The successful candidate should have a strong experimental background in one or more of the following fields: chemical biology (especially nucleic acid chemistry), biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology.
The candidate must be capable of carrying out research and learning new techniques under minimal supervision. The initial appointment is one year with possibility of renewal. For further information on our current research interests, visit: 


Postdoctoral Fellowships (BPD) and doctoral (BD) grant 2012

They are intended for doctoral candidates, preferably those who have obtained the degree less than six years, to conduct advanced research. The duration of the scholarship is normally annual, renewable for up to a maximum of six years, provided they obtain a favorable opinion on the interim assessment made at the end of the first three years.
PhD Scholarships (BD)
They are intended for those who meet the conditions laid down in paragraph 1 of Article 30 of Decree-Law No. 74/2006 of March 24, amended by Decree-Law No. 107/2008 of June 25, and 230/2009 of September 14, and wishing to develop research and lead to the academic degree of doctor. The duration of the scholarship is, as a rule, annual, renewable up to a maximum of four years and can not be granted for periods of less than six consecutive months.Postdoctoral Fellowships (BPD) and doctoral (BD) grant 2012
